Families like to snack, but snacks–especially ones for kids–don’t like families back: they’re typically loaded with nutritional enemies, the most notorious being sugar. Win Win is the passion project of two fathers who wanted to change the trajectory of their own families’ snacking habits and create a company committed to reshaping the way families eat and drink one healthy, tasty product at a time.

Win Win is developing a variety of nutritionally improved snack foods so we needed to establish a brand promise that can accommodate whatever the founders cook up. Our solution: Win Win is the champion of your pantry.

We positioned Win Win as the go-to snack brand that both parents and kids reach for at the same time.

A clear market need

Win Win Water is the first product to launch the Win Win brand, and it is a unicorn: a flavored water for kids that has 0 calories and 0 sugar (a win-win)–and it’s legitimately delicious (another win). We found that this combination of plusses doesn’t currently exist in a category saturated with sugar and bloated with calories. Parents love the clean label. Kids love the flavors.

Creative at work

Win Win is doubly joyous, so its expression as a brand has to be exuberant. The custom logotype practically cheers through its expressive contours, and the defining product attribute of Win Win Water – 0 sugar, 0 calories – came to life as the grinning Zero Zero Hero. From on-shelf cartons to in-hand pouches, tote bags to sweatshirts, every expression of Win Win is a high-five.
