For founders Drake and Anthony, life stunk–life after sweating up their sports gear, at least. Turned off by stink-maskers that smell grossly artificial, they set out to create an odor solution that would actually work. Using the real science of odor elimination and incorporating essential oils and plant-based ingredients, they created a wholly effective, patented formula, housed in a bad-ass little magnetic block.

Refreshing an odor eliminator

DEOBLOCK has been enjoying success in the marketplace, gaining fans and attracting notable sports teams, but the founders felt their vision for the brand had not been fully realized. Through our discovery process, we honed the brand strategy and identified a differentiating brand position.

Making life not stink

While DEOBLOCK is their first product, DEO Company envisions many more ways to fight stink.  We articulated their brand promise ,“to eradicate odors from personal spaces,” which led to the brand idea: Make life not stink. DEO is not just an odor eliminator - it’s a life improver.

Creative at work

We reimagined their brand identity and created a new logo that mimics the shape of the DEOBLOCK cube, which actually informed a new product design. We developed brand guidelines that include typography, a new color palette, and custom design elements. We applied this confident, premium design language to new package design and a new e-commerce website.
